Proudly Serving Since 1938

The Ida Township Volunteer Fire Department (I.V.F.D.) proudly serves Ida Township and the southern portion of Raisinville Township, covering 58 square miles with a dedicated team of paid-on-call and part-time firefighters.

We respond to fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, power line hazards, odor investigations, severe weather events, and mutual aid requests.

Every member of our department is a trained and certified firefighter and medical first responder, with many holding advanced certifications and degrees to provide the highest level of service to our community.

Our members train weekly to ensure they are always prepared to respond quickly and effectively when duty calls.
